Welcome to the first episode of Late Nights with the Lord. I am your host, Fr. Jim Tucker. This is primarily a podcast of prayer. Late nights can be a time of rest from a very busy day. It is a time when we feel our weariness catch up with us. It is a time when we would rather be home, in safe surroundings because we know that if we were out in the world right now, we might be caught off guard by dangers, maybe physical dangers, maybe spiritual dangers. So we need this time to rest in the Lord and to let Him protect us, to feel His arms wrap around us.
