<itunes:summary>In this somewhat shorter episode, I give a short overview of the life of St. Maria Goretti, as I record this, on her feast day. I've wanted to celebrate the holy sacrifice of the mass on her feast day, but in my four years as a priest, I have only been able to do that once. So this year, I present this podcast.

The picture for this episode is a portrait of the saint done by a nun close to the family. Mama Assunta, Maria's mother had said the likeness most closely resembled her daughter.

Included in this episode are a clip from Bob and Penny Lord's presentation on St. Maria Goretti, found on their website, and a sound clip from the The Mercy Foundation documentary 14 Flowers of Pardon.
